Favorite part of competing as an individual:
“It’s a rush to try and get to states,” Cicotte said. “Everyone wrestles different. They wrestle more conservative, so you want to take your time. Plus, I’m a senior. So it’s pretty much all or nothing.”

What you’ve done different this year:
“Every summer, I go to a 28-day wrestling camp, the (J Robinson) camp,” said Cicotte. “It puts you in the best shape before the season starts, and you carry that through the season.”

Coach’s outlook:
“Gary is a bulldog,” LCN coach Steve Horne said. “He’s tenacious and always rises to the challenge. He’s pushed me to let him wrestle more tough kids. That attitude sums it all up.”
